ABOUT

Back Two Home Base

Back Two Home Base started as an idea during one of those busy, beautiful, chaotic seasons of life. I wanted a way to make gatherings feel fun again — not forced, not Pinterest-perfect, just meaningful and doable for real families like mine.

I’ve always loved hosting — the planning, the playlists, the food, the details that make people feel at home. But as a twin mom and former corporate girl, I know what it’s like to have the best intentions and zero time to execute them. That’s why I created Back Two Home Base — a space that helps take the pressure off, so you can focus on what actually matters: connecting, cooking, and creating memories without the stress.

Here, you’ll find digital party kits, easy recipes, and practical hosting inspiration designed for real homes with real life happening inside them. Through The Home Base Hosting Club, I share monthly menus, decor ideas, and planning tools that help make entertaining simple, stylish, and genuinely enjoyable.

The “Two” in Back Two Home Base represents my twins — and the reminder that no matter how full life gets, we can always come back to what grounds us: home, family, and connection.

I also host Planned-ish, a parenting and lifestyle podcast where my husband Joe and I talk about family life, business, and the perfectly imperfect moments in between. Between recording episodes, testing recipes, and wrangling toddlers, I’ve learned that the best gatherings aren’t perfect — they’re intentional, a little spontaneous, and full of heart.

So whether you’re hosting a dinner, throwing together a last-minute playdate, or just trying to make weeknight meals feel special, I’m here to help you make it happen — with a little more joy and a lot less pressure.
