Soy Marinated Flank Steak
Here’s What You’ll Need:
1/2 cup low sodium soy sauce OR coconut aminos plus a few dashes more
1/4 cup honey
1 tbsp vegetable oil
1.5 tsp sesame oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 tsp minced ginger
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp red chili pepper flakes
3 tbsp thinly sliced green onion
1 tsp rice vinegar
1.5-2 lb flank steak
Instructions:
Combine all marinade ingredients and mix well
Place flank steak in a tupperware or gallon zip lock and pour marinade over saving about ¼ cup or less
Refrigerate for at least one hour, flipping half way through. I let it set in the fridge almost all day flipping half way for maximum flavor
Add flank on to hot grill and flip about 5 minutes through. For medium which I like, cook between 130 and 132°F
Take off grill and rest for 10 minutes before slicing
Drizzle remaining marinade over sliced steak
I serve this with grilled asparagus, roasted potatoes, and a Miso Crunch Salad.
