Football Chili

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • 1 pound of lean ground beef

  • 1 big onion diced

  • 4 garlic cloves minced

  • 2 tsp cumin powder

  • 2 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp oregano

  • 2 1/2 tbsp chili powder

  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper

  • salt and pepper to taste

  • 15oz black beans, rinsed

  • 15oz kidney beans, rinsed

  • 15oz can of fire diced tomatoes

  • 15oz can of diced tomatoes with green chilis

  • 15oz can of tomato sauce

    To really kick it up even more, add more chili powder and cayenne

Instructions:

  1. Brown meat fully then add diced onion and cook for 5 minutes

  2. Add garlic and seasonings

  3. Transfer meat/onion mixture to crockpot

  4. Add in beans and tomatoes and tomato sauce

  5. Cook on high for 4 hours or low for 6 hours

  6. Top with sour cream and shredded cheddar cheese

Serve alone or with cornbread for an amazing football dinner!!
