Football Chili
Here’s What You’ll Need:
1 pound of lean ground beef
1 big onion diced
4 garlic cloves minced
2 tsp cumin powder
2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp oregano
2 1/2 tbsp chili powder
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
salt and pepper to taste
15oz black beans, rinsed
15oz kidney beans, rinsed
15oz can of fire diced tomatoes
15oz can of diced tomatoes with green chilis
15oz can of tomato sauce
To really kick it up even more, add more chili powder and cayenne
Instructions:
Brown meat fully then add diced onion and cook for 5 minutes
Add garlic and seasonings
Transfer meat/onion mixture to crockpot
Add in beans and tomatoes and tomato sauce
Cook on high for 4 hours or low for 6 hours
Top with sour cream and shredded cheddar cheese
Serve alone or with cornbread for an amazing football dinner!!
