Liberty Dessert

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • 1 cup flour

  • ½ cup butter, room temperature

  • ½ cup chopped walnuts

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 1 cups powdered sugar

  • large container of cool whip

  • 2 boxes of instant chocolate pudding

  • 2 ½ cups whole milk

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F

  2. Combine flour, butter, and chopped walnuts with a pastry cutter or fork until well combined, press into a 9×13

  3. Bake for 15 minutes then cool

  4. Whip cream cheese and powdered sugar together in one bowl

  5. Combine pudding and milk in another bowl

  6. Add the layers: cream cheese mixture spread over crust, then ½ container of cool whip, then pudding layer, then rest of the container of cool whip

  7. Chill for about 2 hours

I always add fun berries on top for an extra patriotic touch!!
