Liberty Dessert
Here’s What You’ll Need:
1 cup flour
½ cup butter, room temperature
½ cup chopped walnuts
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 cups powdered sugar
large container of cool whip
2 boxes of instant chocolate pudding
2 ½ cups whole milk
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350°F
Combine flour, butter, and chopped walnuts with a pastry cutter or fork until well combined, press into a 9×13
Bake for 15 minutes then cool
Whip cream cheese and powdered sugar together in one bowl
Combine pudding and milk in another bowl
Add the layers: cream cheese mixture spread over crust, then ½ container of cool whip, then pudding layer, then rest of the container of cool whip
Chill for about 2 hours
I always add fun berries on top for an extra patriotic touch!!
